Introduction: APSC CCE Recruitment 2024

The official notification for the Combined Competitive Examination (Preliminary), 2023 (APSC CCE 2023) has been issued by the Assam Public Service Commission, announcing the recruitment of 235 vacancies. Interested and eligible candidates may apply online here.

What is the Eligibility Criteria of APSC CCE Exam?

The Eligibility Criteria of APSC CCE Exam is mentioned below-

Nationality:The applicant needs to be a citizen of India.
Regional Language Proficiency:The candidate must be proficient in Assamese, another official language of the state, any associated official language, and any tribal language spoken by the state.
Residentship:An applicant must be a native resident of Assam.
Employment Exchange Registration:An applicant must be enrolled in a District Employment Office in Assam.
Small Family Norms:A declaration addressing “The Small Family Norms” must be submitted in Form-A by candidates when they apply for the C.C. (Prelim) Examination.
Age Limit:As on January 1, 2023, the candidate’s age should not be less than 21 or greater than 38.
Educational Qualification:# The candidate should possess a degree from a university recognized by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India, or from other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament. Alternatively, qualifications deemed equivalent by the Government or declared under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, are also acceptable.
# Candidates must possess the prescribed qualification on the date of submission of their applications

What is the Selection Process of APSC CCE Exam?

There are two stages that make up the Combined Competitive Examination: –

1. The Preliminary Examination (Objective Type)

2. The Main Examination (Written & Interview Test)

Written Examination: Following the Preliminary Examination results, the candidates eligible for the Main Examination’s written part will be 11 to 12 times the number of vacancies specified for each category. The written examination will comprise six papers of a conventional essay type/objective type with restricted word limits.
